Coquette Cherry Art Tutorial

Tools I used:
  1. Round brush by HIMI
  2. Flat brush by Daler-Rowney (for the stripe background)
  3. Holbein watercolours
  4. HIMI jelly goauche
  5. Pentel SignPen in black
Note: you don't need to use what I use. Any kind of paint and brush you have on hand can work just fine!

Steps:
For the bow
1. Paint a small circle followed by two wide loops on either side
2. Add 2 wavy strokes down for the tails of the bow

For the stalk
3. Paint a small V above the bow for the tips
4. Then do a big upside down V branching off from the middle of the bow knot

For the fruit
5. Add a red circle at the end of each stalk. Leave a little white on the side to create a highlight
Pro tip: Don't paint the circle directly at the end of the stalk. Go slightly above so it looks like the stalk is in the cherry

Optional: outline and add a cute striped background
