Do you paint ALL kinds of pets?

While I mainly paint dogs, I've also done cats, horses and little bearded dragons! If they mean something to you, they mean something to me. If you have a REALLY unique pet and would prefer to check first, just send along a photo to ming@loveryming.com

What is your turnaround time on commissions?

This depends on my current load but you can expect to see your portrait within 2-4 weeks of ordering.

Question 3

What types of photos are best?

Accepted Answer

I can work with most photos as long as they clearly show your pet's full body, color markings and other unique features.
 
Best poses include:
- Seated and facing forward
- Lying down with tail and all legs visible
- Standing with tail and all legs visible
 
Feel free to send multiple photos from different angles for reference. Should I need additional photos, I will reach out to to you directly!

How do I send my photo?

After placing your order, you can email your photo to me at ming@loveryming.com(ming@loveryming.com)

I understand that choosing a photo can be tough so feel free to take 1-2 days! I will follow up with you within a week to check if you're ready. Please note, however, that sending your photo late can affect delivery timelines.

Question 5

Do you ship to my country?

Accepted Answer

Yes! I ship worldwide! Your painting will be shipped out as a 'Document' hence is not subject to any duties/tariffs. However, should your postal system decide to levy one, you will be responsible for the cost. So far, this has never happened :)

Question 6

How long does shipping take?

Accepted Answer

Please note that shipping times can be unpredictable but I will always do my best to ensure your order reaches your hands sooner than later.

Shipping options:
Option 1: Standard Shipping via Pos Malaysia- USD12
This is the most affordable option and takes about 2-2.5 weeks to arrive.

Tracking is included. However, once the parcel leaves my country it is up to your country's postal system to continue the status updates. Some postal services fail to do this but you can email me if you still haven't received your painting 4 weeks after shipment and I will check on it for you.

Option 2: Express Shipping - USD45 (only upon request)
Deliveries will be done using either FedEx or DHL and typically arrive within 1 week of shipment, usually less. If you require this shipping option, please drop me an email at ming@loveryming.com

Question 7

Can I include other objects like toys or beds in the illustration?

My paintings are usually kept minimal to focus on the pet. However, if you'd like to include small items like their favourite toy, blanket, the bed they're sleeping in etc, that can be done. Do note that if the object is very intricate, I may have to incur an additional fee.

Can I use my portait to print cards/stickers etc?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can by purchasing the digital file add-on. You'll receive the PNG transparent background version of your portrait which you can print on anything as long as it's for personal use only.

What happens if I don't like the final illustration?

Accepted Answer

This rarely ever happens but rest assure I always strive to make my clients happy! I will email you a photo of your painting before shipment. Should you have minor edits, I can tweak the painting for you. If, however, the issue is not editable, then we can discuss it on a case by case basis until both parties are happy.

Do you provide sketches or progress updates?

No sketches will be provided. I will, however, email you a photo of your completed painting before shipment. Should you have minor edits, I can tweak the painting for you. I have a rushed order! What do I do?

If you need your illustration urgently, do drop me an email at ming@loveryming.com and I'll do my best to accommodate. An additional rush order fee may be incurred, depending on my current load.
